Natasha Shabani specializes in transactional intellectual property law.
Prior to joining Rutter, Hobbs and Davidoff, Natasha was Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at DNA Studio, an interactive media agency in Century City. At DNA, Natasha handled all legal affairs for the company including drafting website design/development agreements, software/technology licenses, talent and crew contracts and non-disclosure agreements, preparing sweepstakes and contest rules for on-line promotions, drafting website privacy policies/notices, and advising account executives and project managers on copyright, trademark, and other legal issues.

Prior to DNA Studio, Natasha was an associate in the Intellectual Property Department in the New York law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. In addition to other clients, she represented a leading news and media company in intellectual property law matters including software and trademark licensing, prosecution and enforcement of worldwide trademark portfolios, publishing contests, sweepstakes and promotions, domain name registration and dispute resolution, copyright counseling, website design and development agreements, website framing and linking agreements, website terms of use and privacy policies, and drafting and negotiating the intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions.
Natasha earned her Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School in 2000, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University in 1997. She is admitted to practice law in California and New York.
Natasha enjoys spending time with her family and is a member of the first violin section of the Santa Monica Symphony.
